- Shiki-nai-sha
- 'Shrine in the [Engi-] Shiki'. The proud claim of 2861 shrines with 3,132 enshrined deities mentioned in the tenth-century compilation, the Engi-Shiki, either as imperial shrines (kansha) or provincial shrines (kokuheisha). The shrines are listed in the jinmyocho (register of shrine names) in volumes nine and ten of the Engi-Shiki. Some fell victim to jinja gappei.
